Before and After-Care

BEFORE-CARE

Before-care is available in the school library beginning at 8:00 am each day that school is open. Parents need to sign their child(ren) up in advance to attend before-care. You can call or e-mail the office to sign up during the year. Children need to be dropped off no later than 8:15 am. If you arrive after 8:15, you will need to wait until 8:30 when the school doors open. Before care will be charged at $3 per child per day.

AFTER-CARE FOR HALF-DAY PRIMARY STUDENTS

Families can register their half-day primary students for after-care at St. Matthew's Parish Day School located in Hyattsville, MD. Parents have the option of registering for 2, 3 or 5 days a week.

Hours: 12:00 to 6:00 PM

Rates

Monday-Friday	$400 per month
Monday, Wednesday, Friday	$290 per month
Tuesday & Thursday	$195 per month

Transportation: Children ride to St. Matthew's with a CFMS staff member on the Mt. Rainier Call-A-Bus. The charge is $2.50 per ride and transportation charges will appear monthly on your tuition bill.

Registration: Please contact the CFMS office regarding availability of space at St. Matthew's and registration procedures. There is a $10 registration fee payable to CFMS.

AFTER-CARE FOR FULL DAY STUDENTS

Students who are at CFMS until 3:00 have the option of registering for Club Joe's, an arts-based after-school program at Joe's Movement Emporium in Mt. Rainier.

Hours: 3:00 to 6:00 pm

Rates: $20 per child per day or $75 per week.

Transportation: Children walk from CFMS to Joe's Movement Emporium with Joe's staff members.

Registration: Children must register with Joe's at least 24 hours before attending for the first time. Parents must register their children directly with Joe's and are encouraged to sign-up in late spring or early summer as the program fills up. Children must also be signed up each day that they are supposed to go to Extended Care on the daily sign-up sheet (available when you drop off your child for school).
