CHRISTIAN FAMILY MONTESSORI SCHOOL

COMMITTED TO SOCIAL JUSTICE

Christian Family Montessori School (CFMS) is an inclusive, affirming school and community committed to providing a high quality and thoughtful Montessori education grounded in the principles of inclusivity, equity, and social justice. CFMS is committed to creating a diverse educational community that welcomes families with different racial, ethnic, and religious backgrounds and affirms and welcomes children and families with diverse sexual orientation, gender identities and expression.

EARLY CHILDHOOD TO EARLY ADOLESCENCE

Since 1981, CFMS has prepared children to meet the academic, social, and moral challenges ahead of them and grow in a loving relationship with God.

During the most dynamic period of human development - early childhood and early adolescence - when our young people are most in need of trusted adults and personal relationships - small schools work.

THE MONTESSORI METHOD

The Montessori approach offers a broad vision of education as an aid to life. It is designed to help children with their task of inner construction as they grow from childhood to maturity. It succeeds because it draws its principles from the natural development of the child.

The Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) classifies Christian Family Montessori School as an AMI Recognized Montessori School in both the Primary and Elementary levels.

Mission

Christian Family Montessori is a diverse community of parents, children, and staff working together to provide an affordable Montessori education where children will be prepared to meet the academic, social, and moral challenges ahead of them and grow in a loving relationship with God through the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
